Taang! Records

Taang! Records is an American independent record label. Founded in Boston in 1984, it is headquartered in San Diego since the mid- 1990s.

Musically Taang focused! Records on genres such as punk, indie rock or ska-punk. One of the most important bands include, for example, Gang Green, Poison Idea, Bullet lavolta or the early Lemonheads. The publications of Taang in the late 1980s were known among other things by the American College radio, as opposed to commercial broadcasters could play music like punk or hardcore.

In the American documentary American Hardcore from 2006 comes alongside other representatives of the early hardcore punk scene and label founder Curtis Casella to speak.
