Tarasht

Tarascht (also Tarasht ) is an ancient district in the west of Tehran. To the north it borders on the district Aryaschahr, on the west by Jenah Expressway, to the south by the Azadi Ave. and on the east by the district Towhid.

The Sharif University of Technology, one of the largest universities in the country, located in Tarascht.

In the southwest of the district is the Azadi Square.
