Tatsiana Sharakova

Tazzjana Scharakowa (White Russian Таццяна Шаракова, Russian Татьяна Шаракова / Tatjana Scharakowa; born July 31, 1984 in Orsha, Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Belarusian cyclist.

Tazzjana Scharakowa is an all-rounder which proves its mettle on the track and road. Seven times (2005, 2007, 2008, 2009) it was Belarusian champion in the road race and the time trial on the road. In 2006, she was third in the overall standings of the Grande Boucle Féminine.

International Scharakowa made ​​a name for himself all through successes in track cycling. So she was twice (2005 and 2006), European Junior Champion in the individual pursuit. In the UCI Track World Championships 2010, she won the third place in the points race. In the UCI Track World Championships 2011 in Apeldoorn she became world champion in the points race, in Omnium they finished fifth.
