Tatyana Aryasova

Tatiana Alekseyevna Arjassowa (Russian Татьяна Алексеевна Арясова, English transcription Tatyana Aryasova, born Хмелёва - Chmeljowa - Khmeleva / Khmelyova, . Born April 2, 1979 in Baldajewo at Jadrin, Chuvashia ) is a Russian long-distance runner.

At the 2001 Summer Universiade in Beijing Arjassowa won the silver medal in the 5000 m.

In 2008 she won the Los Angeles Marathon and qualified for the championship of Russia as a third party in the 10,000 - meter race for the Olympic Games in Beijing, where she came in 19th. In the fall she took the 43rd place in the World Half Marathon Championships in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2009 she was fifth at the Nagano Marathon and seventh at the Berlin Marathon. The following year she was third at the Bogota Half Marathon and placed at the Dublin Marathon with 2:26:13 h a course record.

In 2011 she arrived at the Tokyo Marathon finish line first, but was disqualified after the banned substance hydroxyethyl starch was found in their doping test. Because of this violation of the doping regulations she was banned for two years.
