Tayibe

Tayyibe (Arabic طيبة, DMG Tayyiba, Palestinian- Arab Tayyibe; Hebrew טייבה Tajibe, also: Taibeh or Tayiba ) is a city in Israel. It is located about 14 kilometers southeast of Netanya and 12 kilometers north east of Kfar Saba. Tayyibe has existed since the Bronze Age. The status of a city received Tayyibe 1990. In December 2006, the population of 33,900 was Tayyibe. The population consists almost exclusively of Arabs.

Caused a stir, the local football club Tayyibes, 1996 as the first Arab-Israeli club promotion to the highest Israeli league.
