Tecno (motorsport)

Tecno was an Italian Formula 1 racing team. It was founded by the brothers Pederzani in Bologna and built in the early years of kart chassis ( Tecnokart ) that are still used today.

On the development of Formula 3 and Formula 2 chassis (1970 F2 Championship for Clay Regazzoni ), the team worked hard to Formula 1. Between 1972 and 1973 Tecno participated in ten World Championship race. On the construction of the car Ron Tauranac was involved. Chris Amon won in 1973 with his sixth place at the Belgian Grand Prix in the single world championship point for the team.
