The Formula 1 1973 season was the 24th FIA Formula 1 World Championship. She was discharged through 15 races in the period from 28 January 1973 to October 7, 1973. Jackie Stewart won for the third and last time the drivers' world championship. Lotus - Ford was the sixth time Constructors' world champions.
The FIA honorary title of European Grand Prix was awarded in 1973 to the Belgian Grand Prix.
