Government

Tall Abyad (Arabic تل أبيض, DMG Tall Abyad, Kurdish Gire SIPI ) is the name for both a district in the Syrian government of al-Raqqa, and for the same capital. The city lies on the River exposure on the border with Turkey, and has about 14,825 inhabitants ( 2004). Civil war in Syria
