Tensta metro station

Tensta is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro. It is located in the homonymous district Tensta. The station is served by the Blå linjen the Stockholm subway system. It belongs to the rather moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day 6,000 commuters to climb here.

The station was taken on August 31, 1975 as the 86th station of the Tunnelbana in operation, as the portion of the Blå was opened linjen between T- centralen - Hjulsta. The platforms are located about 20-22 meters below ground. The station is located between the stations Rinkeby and Hjulsta. Stockholm Central Station, there are about 12.5 km.
