Testorf-Steinfort

Testorf Stone Fort is a municipality in the district of North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The municipality is the Office Grevesmühlen country located in the town of Greve mills, which forms an administrative community with the Office, managed.

The community Testorf- stone fort was formed on 1 January 1999 from the formerly independent communities Testorf and Testorf Stone Fort.

Geography

Testorf Stone Fort lies about 10 km southeast of Greve mills and is about 20 km away from Schwerin. The ground moraine on the river is hilly and reaches near the hamlet Schönhof 77 m above sea level. NN.

Besides Testorf Stone Fort, the districts Testorf, Miss Stone Fort, Harms Hagen, Schönhof, Seefeld and Wüstemark belong to the community.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on 20 September 1993 by the Home Office and registered under No. 48 of the coat of arms role of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Blazon: " Divided by a blue wave dash bar; top in gold three bar as standing chestnut trees with green foliage, silver flowers and black trunk; below in the green clad in silver chest image of a virgin, beseitet each a four-leaved golden rape flower with red hickeys. "

The coat of arms was designed by the Wismar Roland Born bill.

Economy and infrastructure

The church is oriented agricultural, here including a dairy farm is operated. Worth seeing are the Castles in the districts Schönhof and Harms Hagen and the entire village complex of Wüstemark.

Transport links

The Federal Highway 208 from Wismar Gadebusch to Ratzeburg touches the south of the municipality ( district of Miss Stone Fort ). Six kilometers from the district Testorf is the motorway junction Grevesmühlen ( A 20). The stations of the neighboring towns and Plüschow Bobitz lie en route Wismar - Lübeck.

Sports

In FSV Testorf- Upahl which is operated together with the community Upahl, currently playing alongside two men's teams and youth teams. Every year in late June / early July, a three-day sports festival with a tournament in which many clubs in the area to attend.
