Thanasi Kokkinakis

Thanasi Kokkinakis (born 10 April 1996 Seacombe Heights ) is an Australian tennis player.

Career

Thanasi Kokkinakis began at the age of eight years with the tennis games. On the ITF Men 's Circuit, he has been able to achieve yet no single title. At the Hopman Cup 2013, he was in three games as a substitute for John Isner and Tommy Haas in action. At the Australian Open in 2013, he took up thanks to a wildcard in the men's doubles with Nick Kyrgios. They divorced from in their Grand Slam debut in the first round. In the junior individual competition, Thanasi Kokkinakis and doubles partner Kyrgios were opposite in the final, which won Kyrgios with 7:64 and 6:3. On the side of Kyrgios he won the doubles competition of the juniors at Wimbledon in June 2013. At the Australian Open in 2014, he first participated in the individual competition of a Grand Slam Tournament and stood by the first round after a four- set victory over Dutchman Igor Sijsling. In the second round he had already met the top-seeded Spaniard Rafael Nadal, he clearly lost to the in three sets.

2014 Thanasi Kokkinakis was first nominated for the Australian Davis Cup team. He makes his debut in the first round against France.
