The Avalanches

The Avalanches are an Australian band from Melbourne within the electronic music that is for its numerous DJ activities and their debut album Since I Left You, which was recorded with approximately 3,500 vinyl samples known. Currently they consist of the members Darren Seltmann, Robbie Chater and Tony Diblasi. Stylistically, it is assigned to the Alternative Dance and the breakbeat.

Career

The Avalanches began in 1995 as an alarm 115, a noise- punk band inspired by bands like Drive Like Jehu, The Fall and Ultra Bidet. Officially, the group changed their name until their fifth live performance as the opening act for Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, in The Avalanches. Then, their notoriety grew rapidly. The debut single, Rock City was published in spring 1997 by Trifekta Records. This was followed in December of the same year, the El Producto EP on another label ( Wonder Gram Records). Due to the success of the EP label owner Steve Pavlovic The Avalanches took in May 1998 at its new Modular Recordings label. Under this label, also her most single studio album should appear. Since I Left You
