The Cooper Temple Clause

The Cooper Temple Clause were an indie - rock, electro - rock band from Reading, England, which was founded in the late 90s and disbanded on 24 April 2007.

Band History

After the band was taken in 2000 by RCA Records, they initially brought out a couple of singles and EPs before then in 2002 released their critically acclaimed debut album See This Through and Leave. The following year, the band achieved international recognition with her album Kick Up the Fire, And Let the Flames Break Loose.

The lyrics were written mostly by Daniel Fisher, while Tom Bellamy the song Talking To A Brick Wall, Into My Arms In Your Prime and for her 2003 released album Kick Up The Fire, And Let The Flames Break Loose wrote.

In September 2005, bassist Didz Hammond left the band and founded, together with the ex- Libertines Carl Barât and Gary Powell, the band Dirty Pretty Things. An official statement of the band to the disposal Hammonds can be found on their homepage.

In January 2007, her new album Make This Your Own and a further EP, which includes the songs " Waiting Game " and " Pulling Shapes" appeared.

After they completed a short tour with their new album, Dan Fisher was on 24 April 2007 his departure from the band known. The remaining band members decided to summarily dissolve the band. Reasons for the departure of Dan Fisher and were effected in this resolution are not known.
