The Corner is an American miniseries about the poverty of a family and their involvement in the drug market of West Baltimore. The series is based on the book The Corner: A Year in the Life of an Inner-City Neighborhood by David Simon and Ed Burns, the former of whom was involved as a producer. The series was broadcast in 2000 on the U.S. cable channel HBO and includes six episodes.

The Corner has been nominated four times at the Emmy Awards 2000 Emmy and awarded in three categories miniseries, directed at a Miniseries or Television Film and Screenplay at a mini-series, a TV movie or a drama.

Some of the actors also appeared in the later HBO series The Wire ( Ed Burns) and Treme, both by David Simon.

A DVD release was published on 22 July 2003.
