The Defector (film)

Silent Weapons ( Original title: The Defector ) is a spy thriller from 1966, in the tradition of films like The Spy Who Came in from the Cold.

Action

The American scientist Prof. James Bower during his vacation stay in East Germany recruited by the CIA agent Adam to smuggle a Russian microfilm to West Germany. He is followed here Peter Heinzmann, a defector ( Defector ), who works for the OGPU. The information on the film turn out to be outdated, nevertheless Bower must because of the pursuer fear for his life. Help comes from Frieda Hoffman, the nurse of his spy contact.
