The F.U.'s

The FU 's were an American hardcore punk band from Boston.

Band History

The group was founded in 1981, in 1982 some pieces in the compilation This Is Boston, Not LA. In the same year the debut EP Kill for Christ followed. The following publications My America and Do We Really Want to Hurt You were produced by Lou Giordano. In particular, My America fell on by unusual for the punk scene Political Statements: The band spoke to the plate as well as in several interviews for patriotism; among other things, My America contained a cover version of We're an American Band by Grand Funk Railroad. The Punksatiriker Dead Milkmen played on this fact later on in their written from the perspective of rednecks song Tiny Town on published 1985 Big Lizard in my Backyard, in which the line " We hate blacks, and we hate jews, and we hate punks, but is we love the FU 's included ". Mid-80s began some of the band members to play in a band called Straw Dogs, which was the end point for the FU 's time.

Aftermath

The albums of the F.U. ' s were identified later by Taang! CD reissued; 2005, a cover version of the song FU' Civil Defense was released from the album Kill for Christ by NOFX. After this song in 1998, also named a Boston hardcore band.
