The Fall of Troy

The Fall of Troy (English for the fall of Troy ) was an American band from Mukilteo, Washington, whose style was moving between post-hardcore and progressive rock bands like At the Drive -In, The Mars Volta and The Blood Brothers. The sound, however, stands out markedly from the above- mentioned bands.

The band was founded by three young Thomas Erak (guitar, vocals ), Tim Ward (bass, vocals) and Andrew Forsman (drums), which were completed in late 2003 by Jesse Erickson (keyboard), which, however, shortly afterwards band left again. Particularly striking from their music seem unusually fast and complex guitar riffs that provide with many effects, such as loops for a fuller sound sensation that initially gives the listener the impression of a band with several guitars at first.
