The Gladiators (Band)

The Gladiators are a Jamaican roots reggae band.

History

The story of Gladiator start in 1965, first with Albert Griffiths, David Webber and Errol Grandison. 1969 replaced Clinton Fearon David Webber and Errol Grandison in 1973 left the group and was replaced by Gallimore Sutherland. Since that time the trio so from Albert Griffiths, Clinton Fearon and Gallimore Sutherland.

Their first recordings came about ( " Sir Coxsone " ) 's legendary Studio One in Clement Dodd. From 1976 to 1981, she then had a contract with Virgin; 1982-1984 at Nighthawk Records and since 1985 Heartbeat under contract. This contract ended in 1991 with Valley of Decision. The Gladiators are still active today. In 2002, the album Once upon a time came out in Jamaica. In 2004, Albert Griffiths on Father and Sons his two sons Al and Anthony musically. Clinton Fearons solo project has the name " Boogie Brown Band ". Proverbial Reggae, Sweet So Till and Studio One Presenting the Gladiators were recently re- launched as an audio CD.
