The Ideal Crash is the third studio album by the Belgian band dEUS. It was published on 15 March 1999 and has sold more than 250,000 times.

The Ideal Crash was recorded mostly in Spain and is the first album of the band, which appeared at a major record label. Paradoxically, however, it is also the only album of the band, which was not published in the United States. In Belgium, it reached by selling 25,000 copies in one week gold status and stayed for several months in the album charts.

Reviews

The album has received positive reviews and is considered one of the best of the band. For example, laut.de were four of five points and Allmusic four and a half out of five. Plattentests.de even gave the highest rating (10/ 10) and described it as "round and closed work " that grow " with each listen ."
