The Ryoji Noyori Prize
The Ryoji Noyori Prize (Japanese野 依 赏, Ryoji - shō ) of the Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry Japan ( SSOCJ ) is conferred since 2002 Price in asymmetric synthetic organic chemistry.
This includes methods of organic synthesis, between stereo - isomers (enantiomers ) are different, which is important for the synthesis of biologically important substances.
The price has been donated in honor of the Nobel Prize for Ryoji Noyori (2001) and is sponsored by Takasago International Corporation. It is awarded annually and is worth 10,000 dollars.
