The Saturdays

The Saturdays are a Established in 2007, British / Irish girl group. Since 2008 to stand at Fascination Records, a record label Polydor, under contract. Band History

2007-2009: Foundation and Chasing Lights

The group was formed by a casting of the record label Polydor Records in 2007. They got a record deal with Fascination Records, a sub-contractors by Polydor. While they accompanied Girls Aloud on their Tangled Up Tour, they began work on their first studio album. They also accompanied the Jonas Brothers on a concert. The first single of the song If This Is Love was released. The song debuted at # 8 on the British charts. The debut album Chasing Lights was released in October 2008. It reached number 9 and was later honored by the BPI platinum. Although the Saturdays were very often compared with fellow British girl groups, such as the Sugababes or Girls Aloud, the debut album received mostly positive reviews. The second single from the album the song Up was released on 19 October 2008. It reached number 5 in the British charts. The third single, reaching number 4 Issues in the British charts. Both Up and Issues have been awarded by the BPI with silver. In March 2009, a cover of the song Just Can not Get Enough by Depeche Mode was added, which was awarded Silver for the charity Comic Relief. The last single from the album Work has been published. 2009-2011: Wordshaker and Headlines!

2011-2012: On Your Radar

Una Foden

Una Theresa Imogene Foden (born Healy ) was born on 10 October 1981 in Thurles ( County Tipperary, Ireland) and is thus the only non-British member of the band. Before joining the band, she released 2006 solo EP Sorry. In the same year she supported Brian Kennedy at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2006 as a backing vocalist. Since the age of 13, she plays guitar and provides the even with performances of the band dar. 2009 she got the Virgin Media Music Award for Hottest Female.

Since 2008 she is in a relationship with the English rugby player Ben Foden, whom they married on 30 June 2012. On September 16, 2011, she announced her pregnancy. Your child, a girl, was born on 13 March 2012.

Rochelle Humes

Rochelle Eulah Eileen Humes (born Wiseman ) came on 21 March 1989 in Essex to the world. From 2001 to 2005 she was a member of the group S Club 8, which was founded by the talent show S Club Search. Vanessa White
