Theo Vogelsang

Theodor Vogelsang, shortly Theo Vogelsang, (born 23 February 1990 in Omsk, Soviet Union, now Russia ) is a German footballer who acts as an attacking midfielder.

Career

Theo Vogelsang started to play football in the youth of the German club SV unterklassigen Veldhausen 07, 2002, he moved to the youth department of the Dutch first division side FC Twente Enschede; the youth department of FC Twente was a merger with the youth of Heracles Almelo. By 2009, Vogelsang went through all the youth teams of the Dutch clubs. Then the summer of 2009 he was promoted to the second team of the Border clubs.

After a year Vogelsang moved on loan to second division club Go Ahead Eagles Deventer. His debut for the club from Deventer he announced on August 16, 2010; in the 1-2 defeat on the opening day against Sparta Rotterdam, Vogelsang was in the starting and was replaced at the beginning of the second half for Joey Suk. As a result, it, however, the breakthrough was denied; he came to a total of seventeen missions in which he scored two goals.

For the new season, he returned to Enschede. On 26 July 2011, he made ​​his debut for the first team Enschede, when he came off the bench in the third round first leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifier against FC Vaslui the Romanian first division (2:0) in the 76th minute for Steven Berghuis. Thereafter, however, he was called only once in the KNVB Cup in the first team squad, but did not play.

End of January 2013 joined Theo Vogelsang free transfer to the German third division side Kickers Offenbach, where he had graduated before a trial. He signed a contract until the end of June 2015.
