Thomas Tudor Tucker (Royal Navy officer)

Rear Admiral Thomas Tudor Tucker C.B. (* 1775 Tucker House, St. George's, Bermuda, † 1852) was a British naval officer. He was a nephew of the doctor and the U.S. Treasurer ( Treasurer of the United States ) Thomas Tudor Tucker, after which it was named.

Tucker commanded since 1808, the 18 -gun sloop HMS Cherub, the attack on March 28, 1814 in front of Valparaíso, Chile, together with the frigate HMS Phoebe under Captain James Hillyar, RN, the famous American frigate USS Essex, under Captain David Porter and conquered.
