Tiarno di Sotto

Tiarno di Sotto is a fraction of the municipality of Ledro in the homonymous valley in Trentino. Tiarno di Sotto has about 689 inhabitants.

The former church has teamed up for a referendum 30 November 2008 on 1 January 2010 together with the communities Bezzecca, Concei, Molina di Ledro, Pieve di Ledro and Tiarno di Sopra Ledro to the new community.

In May 2010, a faction head ( Prosindaco ) was chosen together with the local council and mayor.

History

Tiarno di Sotto lay on the Roman road through the Ledro Valley, was also settled earlier, evidence for this is a necropolis in which were found objects from pre-Roman times, the Roman and the Migration Period.
