Timo Tolkki

Timo Tolkki ( born March 3, 1966 in Klaukkala, Nurmijärvi ) is a Finnish musician. He became known as a guitarist and songwriter from Stratovarius and as a producer of various metal bands.

Career

One year after the founding of Stratovarius in 1984, he joined the band as a guitarist and replaced Staffan Strahlman. Until 1995 he was also a singer of Stratovarius. Until 1993 he held various demos and albums for small Finnish metal bands in his TTT Studio. In 2002, he appeared as a guest musician with the debut album by the Finnish power metal band Thunderstone. Beginning of April 2008 left Tolkki of Stratovarius and formed a new band called Revolution Renaissance.
