Tisvilde

Tisvilde is a town on the Northern coast of the island of Zealand in the Kattegat small town in the Danish Capital Region. It is located about nine kilometers northwest of Helsinge and about 24 kilometers northwest of Hillerød. On 1 January 2013, the city had, which belongs to the municipality of Gribskov, 1533 inhabitants.

In the immediate coastal area in the north of Tisvilde, the Tisvildeleje is called, there are former fishermen's cottages, many of which have been converted into holiday homes. The surrounding area is characterized by long sandy beaches and forests. Especially in the summer Tisvilde is popular as a holiday resort.
