On 31 March 2009 ( 29th Round ) he came off the bench in the 0-4 defeat against SpVgg Unterhaching with the score at 0-3 at half-time for Daniel Masuch, and thus came to his first professional use. However, this game was his only for the Kickers and Duffners contract was not renewed, so that he was first out of contract at the end of the season. After half a year he signed in January 2010, finally signed a contract with the Oberliga SV Ahlerstedt / Ottendorf and still came in Lower Saxony in the second half to twelve inserts.
