Toby Gard

Toby Gard (born 1972 in Chelmsford, Essex ) is a British computer game developer. He worked as a character designer at Core Design, the studio where the computer game Tomb Raider series was born. There, Toby Gard recorded as the inventor of the figure Lara Croft, one of the famous computer game characters in the world, responsible.

Toby Gard left Core Design after the first Tomb Raider was released. He then worked on the development of the game Galleon for the Xbox before it was brought back from the new Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics to work, among other things Tomb Raider Legend.

Today Toby Gard lives in London and works for Eidos Interactive.
