Tolata Municipality

The municipality Tolata is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

The municipality Tolata is one of three Municipalities of the province of Germán Jordán. It is bordered to the west and southwest by the province of Esteban Arce, on the southeast by the municipality of Cliza, in the eastern province Punata, and to the north by the province of Chapare.

Geography

The municipality Tolata is in the transition zone between the Andes mountain range, the Cordillera Central and the Bolivian lowlands.
