Tommy de Jong

Tommy de Jong (born 6 February 1987 in Strasbourg / Bas- Rhin, France ) is a French footballer of Dutch descent. He currently plays for FC Steinseltz.

Career

Youth

Tommy de Jong was already active in the Youth for Racing Strasbourg.

Senior level

In 2004, he came into the first team of the club, said he never had there an application in the professional team. In 2007 he went to the third division side FC Martigues. There, Tommy de Jong came only two appearances. For this reason, Tommy de Jong joined the 2008/09 season in the Netherlands, the land of his ancestors, and hired the second division club FC Dordrecht. In February 2009, he released his contract on there. In July 2009, he signed again with Racing Strasbourg. And this time he only came for the reserve team to use. In 19 missions succeeded him in this case a hit. After an simplistic loose time he came in November 2010, when Alsatian amateur club SC Schiltigheim. There, Tommy de Jong came to 20 inserts and two hits. For the 2011/12 season he again went back to Racing Strasbourg and signed a 1 year contract. After his contract expired on 30 June 2012, he left the club and the Division d' Honneur FC Steinseltz closed in itself.
