Toni Steurer
Toni Steurer, Anton Steurer actually ( born December 1, 1978 in Oberstdorf ) is a German extreme ski mountaineering athletes and mountaineers and climbers -.
Professional Steurer is stationed as a soldier in the Bundeswehr Medical Service at the site Kempten. He is a trained army mountain guide. The passionate alpine athlete is a member of the DAV section Oberstaufen and in the German national ski mountaineering. At the age of 17, he climbed the Eiger North Face and was one of the youngest climbers.
In the field of mountaineering and climbing his focus of interest lies in climbing through heavy, combined mountain walls in no time. In his tours he preferred integrated ski, but also sports equipment such as mountain bikes. In the "International Year of the Mountains " in 2002 he climbed together with Walter Hölzler from Thalkirchdorf within 24 hours in a hat-trick on the three pillars of Piz Palu in the 4000 -meter-high Swiss Bernina group. He also made several first ascents of alpine climbs in the Allgäu region in the area of difficulty grades 7 to 9
