Tony Leung Ka-Fai

Tony Leung Ka Fai (Chinese梁家辉/梁家辉, Pinyin Liang Jiahui, Leung Ka Fai, born 1 February 1958 in Hong Kong) is a Chinese actor.

Life

In Hong Kong film circles Leung Ka Fai is because of his stature often called "Big Tony," because of the distinction of his younger fellow actor Tony Leung Chiu Wai ( " Little Tony ").

Leung studied drama at the Hong Kong TVB Acting School, but the training stopped after 9 months. He got his first film role in 1983 by director Han Hsiang Li ( Lee Hang - Sheng ), the father of his then-girlfriend, burning in The Empire. For his debut he won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor.

He then became a busy performer of Hong Kong cinema, but also played leading roles in international productions such as The Lover ( 1992) by Jean -Jacques Annaud.

Family

Tony Leung Ka Fai married in 1987 Jia- Nian Jiang. Children: Chloe Leung Leung and Nikkie.
