Torben Piechnik

Torben Piechnik ( born May 21, 1963 Hellerup ) is a former Danish football player.

Career

Association

Torben Piechnik started to play football in 1982 Kjøbenhavns Bold club for which he played the next six years. In 1988 and 1989 he spent two seasons at Ikast FS. Then Piechnik joined B 1903 Copenhagen, which he also did not leave, as the first team in 1992 merged with the Bold club for FC Copenhagen. After just seven league inserts the newly crowned European champion decided on a transfer to FC Liverpool. In his first Premier League season he was only 16 missions. In the following season he was even exclusively in one game to use. He then returned to his Danish home and played until his career end for Aarhus GF.

National

Torben Piechnik played in his career and 15 times for the national team of Denmark. He was also one of those Danish team that became European Champion in 1992.
