Totora (city)

Totora is a town in the Cochabamba Department in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

Totora is the central place of the district ( bolivian: Municipio) Totora and seat of the administration of the province Carrasco. The village lies at an altitude of 2800 m in the upper reaches of the River Sauces, which drains below Totora in a southeasterly direction to the Río Grande out.

Geography

Totora is located in one of the high valleys of the mountain range of the Cordillera Oriental, which merges into the Bolivian lowlands to the east.
