Tour du Haut-Var

The Tour du Haut -Var is a French bicycle race.

The discharged since 2009 as a stage race competition has its deadline usually in mid-February and will be held in the French region of Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur. The Tour du Haut -Var, which is one of the earliest French races each season, was carried out by their first held in 1969 to 2008 as one day races. Since the UCI Europe Tour introduction in 2005, the race is part of this series and classified in category 2.1. The course is very selective, since it is provided with some climbs, some with more than 10 % slope. The Tour du Haut -Var was also from 1992 to 2008 a part of the Coupe de France, a race series of French -day races. Record winner is Joop Zoetemelk who could win the race three times for themselves.
