Tour of Utah

The Tour of Utah (official Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, Utah German Tour ) is an American road cycling competition.

The competition was first held in 2004 as the Thanksgiving Point Stage Race & Cycling Festival in the U.S. state of Utah. The then registered in the national calendar races extended first three stages. Since 2006, the stage race got its present name and comprises six stages. For the 2007 season, the race was first taken up by the UCI in the calendar of the UCI America Tour, but could not be discharged due to financing problems. In the coming years the race was held again in the national cycling calendar of the United States. For the 2011 season the competition was finally taken up again in the calendar of the UCI America Tour and classified in the UCI category 2.1.

The competition will be held in the Rocky Mountains and extends to over 9000 meters in altitude.
