Trébeurden

Trébeurden ( Trebeurden Breton ) is a commune with 3707 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Côtes- d'Armor in the Brittany region. It belongs administratively to the district Lannion and Perros-Guirec to Canton.

Geography

The municipality is situated on the Atlantic coast, which is mentioned in the from here towards the east Côte de Granit Rose, about ten kilometers northwest of Lannion. The community is surrounded to the north and west of the sea, the place itself is located on the Bay of Lannion ( frz: Baie de Lannion). The upstream tidal island Ile Milliau and the Ile Molène belong to the municipality. Neighboring communities of Trebeurden are:

  • Pleumeur -Bodou in the east and
  • Lannion in the south.

Transport links

The municipality is situated on the D788 road department, which runs along the coast to Trégastel as well as links to the D65, the Trébeurden with Lannion. The airfield Aeroport de Lannion Servel is located only seven kilometers away.
