Třebohostice

Třebohostice ( German Trebhostitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers northwest Strakonic in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Strakonice.

Geography

Třebohostice located in the hills of Blatenská pahorkatina in a valley along the upper reaches of the creek Kolčavka ( Rissowsky ). To the north rises the Obrň ( 562 m), in the south of the Lelovka ( 488 m), in the southwest of the Jiva (518 m ) and west of the Zámek ( 577 m) and the Hřeben ( 597 m). Southeast of the pond is Třebohostický fishpond. Leads through the village the main road II/139 between Horažďovice and Radomyšl.

Neighboring towns are Doubravice, Na Sázkách and Lažany in the north, Kořenský Mlýn, Hradec, Sedlice and Pilský Mlýn in the northeast, Láz, Chrášťovice and Leskovice in the east, Radomyšl, Kaletice and Podolí the southeast, Klínovice, Únice and Borek in the south, Mnichov, Střelskohoštická Lhota and Saddleback in the southwest, Zadnà Zborovice and Hlupín in the west and Mečichov, V Horách Chalupy and Nahošín in the northwest.

History

Archaeological finds indicate a prehistoric settlement in the municipal area. In the vicinity of Třebohostice four barrows of the Hallstatt period have been found dating from 1000 BC to 500 BC, in an also remnants of pottery were. On the hill Zámek was during the late Hallstatt and La Tène between the 5th century BC and the 1st century a Celtic hill fort. This was probably to protect the Prácheňské walkway and is the dominion of the prince attributed by Venec.

The village was probably founded in the 14th century. The first written mention of Třebohostice took place in 1357, as Basek of Blatná the village acquired from his uncle William of Strakonitz. Below Třebohostice belonged to the 19th century to the reign Blatná, owners were after 1408, inter alia, Mr. Lev of Rosental, von Sternberg, Rozdrazowsky of Rozdrazow and from 1798, the Barons of Hildprandt Ottenhausen. At the beginning of the 19th century, the village was the Good Bratronitz slammed. In 1840 Střebohostitz consisted of 42 houses with 265 inhabitants. Vicarage was Radomischel. Until the mid-19th century Střebohostitz remained the Good Bratronitz submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Střebohostice / Střebohostitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district administration and the judicial district of the Strakonice. Today's local name Třebohostice was introduced in the 1890s. 1964 were incorporated Zadnà Zborovice, Únice and Hubenov. After a referendum Únice and Hubenov broke on November 24, 1990 go again, and formed their own community.

The municipality consists of the villages Třebohostice Třebohostice ( Trebhostitz ) and Zadnà Zborovice ( Behind Sborowitz ) and the settlements Chalupy and V Horách.
