Trenčianske Teplice

Trenčianske Teplice ( German Trencin Teplice - also Trenčín bathroom, Hungarian Trencsénteplic - to 1888 Teplic - older even Hévíz ) is a municipality and a well-known spa town in Slovakia and about 15 km from Trenčín away.

The town was first mentioned in writing in 1379.

Here ends the narrow gauge railway Trenčianska Teplá Trenčianske Teplice. In Trenčianske Teplice various attractions such as old hotels from the time of the Habsburg monarchy, a spa gardens and old bathhouses, such as Bad Hammam ( in Moorish style).
