Trevenzuolo

Trevenzuolo is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2745 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Verona in the Veneto region. The municipality is situated approximately 22 km south-southwest of Verona and about 19 kilometers northeast of Mantua on Tione and directly borders the province of Mantua ( Lombardy ). Trevenzuolo part of the Unione Veronese Tartaro Tione.

History

In ancient Roman times here was a village settlement. In the Middle Ages, the municipality was under the rule of the monastery of St. Zeno and St. George in Braida ( in present-day city of Verona).
