Tricca

Tricca also Tricale (or TRICALA ) ( Italian: TRICALA ) is a titular of the Roman Catholic Church.

Trikala, as the city is now called, is located at the western end of the plain of Thessaly in Greece. Ancient evidence suggest that this place is considered as the home of Aesculapius, the god of medicine. Not far from the Asklepios temple stands the castle of Trikala, it was built on the remains of the Hellenistic period in the Byzantine period, the returns also the episcopal see.
