Triguères

Triguères is a commune with 1344 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Loiret in the Centre region. It belongs to the canton of Château- Renard and since 1968 the Local Government Association, Château- Renard ( by 1 December 2009 SIVOM du canton de Château- Renard ).

Geography

The community Triguères in the east of the department of Loiret is located on the Ouanne, a tributary of the Loing, which drains to the river Seine. Seen in a larger framework, Triguères is about halfway between the towns of Orleans and Auxerre and about 100 km south-southeast of Paris.

To Triguères include the districts Raignaults Les, Les Grands Moreaux, Les Grands- Morteaux and Les Grands Salmons.

Neighboring communities of Triguères are Chuelles in the North, Courtenay and Montcorbon in the northeast, Douchy in the east, in the southeast Fontenouilles, Melleroy in the south and Château- Renard in the West.

Attractions

  • Mansion Grand Courtoiseau from the 18th century with a park and garden ( classified as a monument historique )
  • Church of Saint-Martin originally derived from the 12th century nave, including Bell Tower, the 15th century nave and chancel were replaced, the windows are decorated with stained glass
  • Statue of Shepherdess Alpais near the train station ( born 1155 near Sens, died 1210, canonized 1874)
