Trini Alvarado

Trinidad " Trini " Alvarado ( born January 10, 1967 in New York City ) is an American actress.

Life

Alvarado's father, Domingo Alvarado, is of Spanish descent, her mother, Sylvia Alvarado, comes from a Puerto Rican family. Trini Alvarado studied art at Fordham University in New York City.

Alvarado first played in short films such as Big Apple Birthday from the year 1978. For her starring role in the comedy Not bad parents (1979 ) she was nominated for the Young Artist Award. In the comedy Satisfaction (1988 ) she played alongside Justine Bateman, Liam Neeson and Julia Roberts one of the major roles. In the literature, film Little Women (1994 ) she appeared alongside Winona Ryder and Gabriel Byrne. It took over a larger role opposite Michael J. Fox in the horror comedy The Frighteners (1996 ) by Peter Jackson. For her role in the comedy Paulie - A chatterbox makes its way (1998) she was nominated in 1999 for the ALMA Award.

Alvarado married actor Robert McNeill.
