Trinidad Silva

Trinidad Silva ( born January 30, 1950 in Mission, Texas, † July 31, 1988 in Whittier, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Silva began his career in 1977 with a guest role in the television series Baretta. After a few more guest appearances and small film appearances such as in wealth is not a shame he received in 1981 the recurring role of the transition member Jesus Martinez in the series Hill Street Blues, which he represented until 1987 in 26 episodes. In the late 1980s, he also had some better roles. In Colors - colors of the violence he played Leo " Frog" Lopez on the side of Sean Penn, Robert Duvall and Don Cheadle. In a crazy journey through the night, he joined Tito next to Keanu Reeves.

During the filming for Weird Al Yankovic comedy UHF - transmitter with limited hope Silva was killed for loss caused by a drunk driver accident. His wife and son were slightly injured. The film, in which Silva a greater role should have been playing, then partly rewritten and dedicated to his memory in the end credits.
