Tsai Chin (actress)

Tsai Chin (Chinese周采芹, Pinyin Zhou Cǎiqín, W.-G. Chou Ts'ai - ch'in; born November 30, 1936 in Shanghai, China ) is a Chinese actress living in the UK and writer.

Life

Tsai Chin is the daughter of the then famous actor of Beijing Opera, Zhou Xinfang, and the sister of Michael Chow, owner of the famous restaurant " Mr. Chow ". She is also the aunt of actress and model China Chow and her brother Maximillian, the children of Michael Chow and his ex-wife Tina Chow. Previously she lived in Shanghai. She had two brief marriages. She was the first Chinese woman who studied in 1951 at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Tsai Chin played her best known role as Lin Tang - the daughter of Dr. Fu Man Chu - in the five Fu Manchu films producer Harry Alan Towers. She was also known for the role of Bond Girls Ling in the film You Only Live Twice, in which also starred her brother. Also in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006) was to see them. She is also the author of the book Daughter of Shanghai.
