Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo

The Kosova Demokratik Türk Partisi ( KDTP, " Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo " ) is a political party in Kosovo. It represents the Turkish minority in Kosovo. Mahir Yağcılar is the chairman of the party.

In the 2004 elections the KDTP reached 1.2 percent of the votes and could win 3 seats out of 120 in parliament. At the 2007 elections the KDTP reached 0.87 percent of the votes and could again win three seats in parliament. Mamusa is the only large community of Kosovo, in which the KTDP won a majority of votes in the elections.
