The river cruise ships in the Ukraina- class (Russian Украина, German transcription: Ukraina), which was also known as Project Q -053, and channel flow are common inland passenger motor ships of large dimensions. The class is named after the first ship of the class, which bore the name of the Soviet Republic of Ukraine.
History
The river cruise ship series was established in 1979. Austrian shipyards in Korneuburg AG ( Austria ) built ships of their own design. The naming was limited to two republics of the USSR, which had an output to the Danube. The ships are used under the Ukrainian flag on the Danube on various cruise routes between Izmail and Passau. Home port is Ismail.
Technology
In the 2000s the ships were modernized and rebuilt for new relationships. The ships have a diesel drive with two reversible four-stroke main engines MWM TbD 440 -8K with a turbocharger.
Equipment
All the comfortable double and triple cabins are equipped with air conditioning.
On board, according to project inter alia, a restaurant, a bar and music room.
