Ulrich Schulze

Ulrich Schulze ( born December 25, 1947 in Darlingerode ) is a former football player. The former football goalkeeper from the GDR is now working as a coach.

Career

Schulze grew up in the small community Darlingerode to near Wernigerode, the SG Darlingerode was his first Sports Community since 1954. Age of 13, he went in 1960 to BSG Lok Halberstadt, which delegated him 1964 as junior players to the league side SC Leipzig. There he became a tenfold youth international. 1966/67, he played his first season in the men's team of Leipzig, which had since been converted to 1 FC Lok Leipzig. After 14 league inserts Schulze moved to the beginning of season 1968/69 1 FC Magdeburg. He peeled off in the following years with Hans -Georg Moldenhauer and displaced him definitively from the 1971/72 season. In Magdeburg Schulze was three times GDR football champion, won the 1973 East German football cup and stood on 8 May 1974 in Magdeburg team that won the European Cup Winners' Cup.

On October 12, 1974, he was inducted into the senior national team in the European Championship qualifier against Iceland (1:1 in Magdeburg ). He earned this use as a second man behind Jürgen Croy by excellent performances in the weeks before. Since this position later Hans- Ulrich Grapenthin occupied, Schulze was not recalled to the national team.

After 138 league games for the first FC Magdeburg and 152 Erstligaeinsätzen total Schulze changed in 1977 with 30 years for second-tier steel Blankenburg. There he ended his active career in 1982.

Subsequently, Schulze worked as a football coach, initially until 1985. Blankenburger at his team, and then for three years in steel valley, whose team in 1987 he helped to promotion to the second-rate DDR -Liga From July 1988 to December 1989 Schulze trained with bismuth Aue a league team. After German reunification, he was coach at SD Croatia Berlin, Lok Stendal and TSG Neustrelitz. In 2006 he went abroad and took over the Albanian club KS Vllaznia Shkoder. He also coached youth teams of the 1st FC Neubrandenburg 04, who plays in the Regionalliga Nord. He currently coaches the Association League team of the SV goods 09
