Umar Mustafa al-Muntasir

Umar Mustafa al - Muntasir (Arabic عمر مصطفى المنتصر, DMG ʿ Umar Mustafa al - Muntasir, * 1939 † 23 January 2001, Germany ) was from 1 March 1987 to October 7, 1990 Secretary General of the General People's Committee in Libya and thus, Libya's prime minister.

Al- Muntasir was Chairman of the General People's Committee. In the period from 1992 to 2000, he then served as foreign minister of the country. He died in Germany, where he stayed for treatment.
