Uncle Jed
Uncle Jed is an Australian band from Sydney that have become known as the 2013 winner of the seventh season of Australia's Got Talent.
Band History
The band Uncle Jed consists of singer Laura Stitt, who is also a background singer Jessica Mauboy at, and her two cousins Danny and Shannon Stitt. By 2005, the two brothers lived in Coffs Harbour and then moved to Sydney to make music together with her cousin. Is named the band after her uncle Jed, who is Laura's father. 2010, they released their first album titled Uncle Jed.
In the meantime, among up to seven members of the band. 2013 but they competed as a trio at the talent show Australia's Got Talent. With her first appearance with the song Brother by Matt Corby, they became favorites to win and with Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran in the semifinals and Just Give Me a Reason by Pink in the final they also won the contest and the prize money of 250 000 AUD.
